Care Coordinator Mentoring Program

An important thing to know about me is that I love to see people succeed.

One of the hardest jobs, especially in domiciliary care, is that of The Care Coordinator. You’re in the firing line day in day out, and if you’re not well equipped with the right systems, training and support, you will probably want to curl up into a ball and cry.

Most of my caring years have been spent as a Care Coordinator, and I must admit - it’s one of my favourite jobs. I thrived with the fast pace, I loved problem solving, but most of all, my job was made 100 times easier because of something really simple…

Relationship building.

When companies recruit a new care coordinator, they often find that they don't have the office staff available or experienced enough in coordinating to guide the newbie. Ultimately, it leads to a high turnover of coordinators.

My mentoring program is designed to empower, befriend and guide new coordinators, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for success. My goal is to change the journey of care coordination from a solitary and stressful experience to a thriving and supported role within your company.

We will cover topics such as:

Understanding the role of a care coordinator

Challenges and responsibilities faced by care coordinators

Importance of clear communication

Techniques for active listening and empathy

Communication strategies for dealing with customers, carers, and professionals

Developing a 'firefighting' toolkit for quick problem-solving

...And so much more!

The great thing about this is that I can mentor your coordinator wherever they are in the world!
